As of right now, I have been in school for one month and it has been super busy. I feel I get so little time to myself nowadays, but that is a sacrifice I am willing to make. I have just had my retreat with the Tobacco Use Prevention Education Peer Advocate Advisory Council (TUPE PAAC), and I am super excited with my future work with the organization. Additionally, I have been working weekly with YCS on planning future public health service projects, which is a lot of fun.
School has been kicking my butt with the amount of work and tests I have, but hopefully everything will work out alright. Basketball season also starts in about a month, which is something I am looking forward to. One thing I am hoping to do in the future is apply for awards, so I am looking at some I may consider. I am just trying to take little steps at a time and not overwhelm myself with the bigger picture.
