First Month of Junior Year 8/31/24

I underestimated how much work my junior year would entail. Already, my schedule is full trying to balance my extracurriculars and homework. It’s hard to find time for my social life, but I guess that was kind of expected.

As of right now, I’ve been working with YCS and continuing my work as a Public Health Peer Leader. Additionally in September, that’s when I will start working with the county on their student-led board against tobacco and cannabis use.

Although I’m busy most days, it’s a good thing I have activities that keep my life interesting. During the summer, I actually started missing having stuff to do- something I would not have expected. Hopefully if I continue to work hard and stay committed, good things will come my way.
