I have just returned from my trip to Taiwan and Japan. It was a great 10 days getting to explore the cities and finally getting a chance to unwind. Tomorrow, I start my volunteering Summer of Service with YCS and prepping for my ACT. I just found out I have secured an interview with the Santa Clara Department of Education and their PAAC- a select board of student leaders that education the youth on cannabis and smoking use.
I’ve been thinking recently, and I am leaning towards applying to Public Health as a pre-med course and attending medical school after. One career path I’ve been looking at is becoming an orthopedic surgeon, but I understand how hard it is to become one. Maybe while I am attending medical school, I may find a different area of work I want to pursue and make my career out of.
