Recently, I have been very pre-occupied with school and basketball which have been taking up most of my time. Additionally, I have been doing continuing to do research on future major positioning options.
One that I am mostly leaning toward to is Global Health. Global Health is an engineering major that focuses on equity over equality and helping people in under-resourced countries. One thing I like about this course is how you I can use my problem solving skills to help fix problems that we face in today’s society.
I went to a Global Health course at Duke University where we focused on finding a problem in lower income countries and researching ways to help mitigate these issues. This is a course that you get to design items and heavily STEM related so it is something I find fun.
