With about 2 weeks left of school, I have been wrapping up most of my units and preparing for finals. As of right now, I have been very focused on school and working to try to finish this school year on the right note.
One thing that has sparked my interest recently is what it takes to be a sports agent. A big passion of mine is athletics, and I have always wondered what it takes to be an agent for big stars like Lebron James or Stephen Curry.
A big aspect of being a sports agent is communication and knowing how to be convincing. You must attend law school and learn how to negotiate for the benefit of your client. It is important to be able to market your athlete and be there for them in any disputes they have. In the end, you want to do whatever it takes to make your athlete benefit and grow.
I don’t know if this is something that I would want to do in the future, but it for sure is something that interests me. Who knows, maybe one day I will want to pursue this field of agency.
