Hey! My name is Iverson Lee and I am a 9th grader at Palo Alto High School. Right now, I am still trying to figure out what I want to do with my career, but what drives me most is knowing that I am making a difference.
I am taking courses this year on biology honors, geometry honors, world history, English, AP computer science principles, and Spanish. I have joined financial literacy and a community service club to help me get involved with the school and prepare me for the future.
The jump from middle to high school has been pretty drastic, I could get away without studying back then but now, I need to apply myself if I want to do well.
I have chosen to write a blog because I feel it is a good way for me to use this as a gauge of how I improve and adjust to the new environment. I will continue to blog 1-2 times a month consistently to document my journey of high school and keep notes on how I am now compared to my past.
During the summer, I took courses in AR coding, python, and an essay workshop. Overall, I feel I got a decent understanding of coding in general but obviously, I can go deeper into it. I also finished my physical therapy for my second knee surgery I had earlier this year.
I chose to start a blog in hope of becoming more knowledgeable about what I want in the future and hopefully this can help me find that. I have interests in STEM-based activities and want to hopefully go deeper into that and use problem-solving skills to fix world problems.
